Steps forward

Celina is so much better. Her right leg is doing very well. The left one is still struggling a bit. Liza one of our physios showed me some new exercises to try and loosen up the right hip. We really need to start with some weight bearing. I did some really light exercises in this area. But just really looking forward to getting her in her standing frame.
And then there is some good news .... we got a new home. A nice flat in Wynberg Hills. with a little Garden and Balcony. Can't wait to move in. 1. April is the day. Finally on our own again. A beautiful little place. Thank you Lord. You supply all our need according to your riches in glory by Jesus Christ (Phil 4:19).

Last Sunday morning we went to Muizenberg and walked with Celina up to St James and back. It was so lovely to go out as a family and just enjoy the wonderful scenery and OBVIOUSLY the Argus. Celina really enjoyed it and we all had a lovely time.

Celina is also fully back at school and they say she is doing well. Lately we get to hear and see lots of real girl giggles. So beautiful. When we laugh she laughs. Everybody says she looks so good.

Thank you Lord for every little step forward. 

Just legs

These last weeks were busy. Celina is back to school and life is almost back to normal. We are now really busy looking for accommodation. We need our own home again. And Celina is now more often again without leg splints. So she can feel just her legs with nothing around it.The exercises are also more easy. Just the laying on the stomach is not yet so good. Buuuuut we work on it. We also started doing some weight bearing from the knees downwards into the foot.

While Lini is getting better with her exercises and getting stronger every day I practise my new hobby and hope that it will soon bring some money.

 

I enjoy making beautiful cakes very much. As soon as I have my own kitchen again I am taking orders

With practise and better tools they will get also more professional.

 





 

Now the weekend is over once again and tomorrow is school and OT and accommodation search. If you know somebody renting out  a place all ground floor please leave a message.
